The adventure starts simple enough, on the highway, the flat lands of Florida but all of that changes when we make it to marina. Looks like a good day for a swim.
We climb upon our boat and the first thing I notice is a bucket of dead fish. What’s this doing here? No one in our group seems to have an answer.
As we leave the dock, the waters are nice and smooth and there is only a handful of clouds in the sky. As we approach the inlet, the mighty Atlantic Ocean greets us with some nice waves as our captain increases speed.
The open ocean. A magical place that appears never ending and limitless, an environment I’ll never grow tired of. The shoreline, it’s a distant memory at this point as we head a few miles offshore.
The water does look nice and inviting, that is why we came here, to go for a swim. I take one last look at the world and make the plunge. Continued in the video above.
