Mark, I very much enjoyed your video of the newly hatched Sandhill Cranes. The Sandhills are my favorites – I am fortunate to live in an area that the Cranes call home from April through November. Last year a pair laid eggs and I photographed them every day from April 23 to July 21. It was truly incredible to see the day-to-day progression and interaction with the parents. Are you planning to go out this year to get more shots of cranes?
If you’re interested, you can view my crane photos on my site (under “project”). Feel free to critique, I can use (and appreciate) all the advice I can get. I used a Sony 9 with the 200-600mm G for most all of the shots. I have since moved to the Sony 1 and am anxious for the cranes to return this Spring.
