Incredible Osprey Diving and Bird in Flight Photography after Big Storm in Florida – Sony A7RIV Sony A9
I had a chance to go to one of my favorite places for bird photography right after a hurricane brushed the coastline of Florida. The hurricane brought in a lot of fish and of course the birds were there eagerly waiting to gobble them up. It made for some amazing bird in flight photography moments but the highlight for me was watching a few osprey make some early morning dives right in front of me. Talk about amazing, this was it! Check out the video below to see all the action!
The English name of Sandwich tern refers to Sandwich a small town in Kent in SE England, Sandwich is the ‘type locality’ of the original specimen named by John Latham in 1787. Your images are absolutely mind-blowingly brilliant, even if large wading birds and ospreys seem to be much tamer in Florida than the UK! Roughly, what is the maximum degree of cropping of Sony A7 RIV images that you would consider acceptable?
Cropping on the a7riv all depends on the lens!

I am considering coming to Florida for 2 or 3 days for your Osprey Workshops. Looking at end of Oct or first of Nov. Is that a good time to come or are there other times you would recommend?
Thanks
Shane.
Both October and November are great months for Osprey photography!
