New Osprey Images

And so it was told that on this day the planets would align, the stars would twinkle and osprey would fall from the sky. What I really meant to say was, conditions for amazing osprey photography were good. I had the sun and wind at my back, an inlet full of swimming fish and 6 hungry osprey. Here’s one of my favorite shots from today, captured with the D500 and my Nikon 500mm F4 ED G lens. The settings were: 1/3200 – f 5.6 – ISO 400.
